Rafael García-Cano,
got his two university degrees (paint and antique art restoration) in
Facultad de Bellas Artes, Universidad Politécnica de
Valencia (Valencia,
Spain) in 1988, and he completed his training by restoring antique artworks
and working as a designer in an advertising studio. In the early 90s, he
discovered the airbrushing world, and he started designing and painting
motorbikes for some specialized workshops. There, his works had a great
success, so finally, in 1992 he gave the big step on creating his own
airbrushing studio, called Aerodiseño (Airdesign).
Mónika García got her very first computer for Christmas when she was three
years old. Grown up in a family of technology-gadgets fans, she left her home
town, Alicante (Spain), at the age of 18 to study telecommunications
engineering in Escuela Superior de Ingenieros de Telecomunicación,
Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Valencia, Spain). Her mission
is to make Rafael's craftmanship and artistry collide with advanced
technology by means of, for instance, this website itself.
